What we do.

We promote and support the co-operative business model as the solution for the most complex social and economic challenges in Saskatchewan. Co-ops are owned by the local people and communities closest to the business, not shareholders only interested in profits. We represent 750+ co-operatives throughout Saskatchewan and are part of a national network of co-ops across Canada.

Co-operative Advocacy.

We work with stakeholders at all levels and sectors within Saskatchewan to advocate for creating co-operative businesses deeply rooted in democracy, economic participation, and sustainable growth of both the businesses and communities they serve.

Youth Engagement.

We’re creating the next generation of co-operative business owners by engaging youth and educating them about the seven principles and the values of co-operatives. We’re currently revamping our youth programs so stay tuned for future announcements!

Leadership Recognition.

We celebrate and lift up co-operative leaders throughout Saskatchewan, recognizing them for their contributions to the success of co-operatives in the province. We do this through our annual Saskatchewan Co-operative Merit Awards.

Our members.

Our co-operative community is 750+ members strong. Through SCA, our members connect, collaborate, and educate each other on the inspiring things they’re doing in their co-operative businesses. To see all our members, go here.
